THE WOMENS INSTITUTE
Meet on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 7pm at the community centre. They are a lively vibrant group who give a warm welcome to all new members. Their purpose is to further friendship and a spirit of warmth among women while passing their knowledge on to others, they organise trips to the theatre and places of interest (which I’m sure includes the odd shopping trip). They often have speakers covering a variety of subjects

BRYN RUGBY CLUB
The Bryn Rugby Club was formed in c 1900 and the team competed successfully until the advent of the professional game in 1995. From that time the club found it difficult to attract players from the local towns and villages and as there were insufficient young men in the village to form a viable team it was disbanded in 2002. The desire to reform the team has remained throughout the past eight years and the current demographics within the community are such that there is now the nucleus of a team from within the village
